The bottom of the case is engraved "Simeon Vivash Berwick Bassett" [a village in Wiltshire, England]. The interior floor shows "rrr", the sterling lion passant, date mark for 1915, and 2 other undeciphered hallmarks. The case has deep tarnish, one slight crease, otherwise good condition. The silver metal box (4"L x 2.5"W x 1"H) has a hinged lid, a foliate design relief border on the sides, and a relief formal garden scene on top. Hallmark not identified, ?Persian. Condition good.
