Having an octagonal form with a simple molded edge and brass banded apron beneath the top. Lid is double hinged inside which shows the original zinc lining with divisions removed. The main body of the cooler has two similar brass bandings and two cast brass oval ring lifting handles. Supported on a fitted base with four square tapered legs with casters. Condition good; area above lock hasp has been reinforced, scattered staining on top; zinc is worn with some loss, interior wood lightly refinished. c. 1780. Cooler 13.75"H x 19"W; on stand 26.5"H

The clasp is hidden. There is also a pair of screw back earrings featuring two ruby & diamond florets (diamonds weigh 1.07 ct., rubies 0.36 ct.) with a gold link separator. Presented in black fabric folio. Quality is very good, condition is good. Mid-20th century. Letter of purchase in 1999 included. Necklace 20.5"L, earrings 5/8" dangle.

The house of Mossfennan can be seen in the center of the valley beyond the trees. Unsigned on the front. Label on verso from the Rembrandt Gallery of Robert Dunthorne Liverpool. Etched into the wood backing are the title and a date that appears to be 1911. Possibly signed on reverse of the canvas board. Condition: good. Some craquelure is occurring in the clouds and sky, but paint loss is minimal. Completely original with nothing visible under blacklight. Image measures 12.5"L x 16"W; under glass and in its original frame 15.5"L x 19"W
