The pearls have very good luster, matching color, and only very slight surface irregularities. At top of each earring is a white gold leafy garland of small round brilliant cut diamonds (in aggregate 0.33 ctw.). 20th century. Condition good.

Full Catalogue Entry Lot 104: CUSTOM AURORA BOREALIS BUTTERFLY BIB NECKLACE - Made in New York City by the artist Dominique, ca. 1960, this 'statement' necklace is bib-form, 12"L x 8.5"W, lying on the upper chest, after dropping from a double neck ribbon of amethyst and clear rhinestones in goldtone metal. A prong set cabochon faux sapphire is at center, ringed with aurora borealis rhinestones in magenta, lavender and blue tones, which also set on the wings. Neck ribbon length very adjustable. The piece is amazing and unique, as only 2 were made in this design. Condition very good.
