Sale S1803 Lot 28  

AFTER ALBRECHT DURER (1471-1528, HRE) SET OF DURER FACSIMILE REPRODUCTIONS - Five (5) copper plate prints from the German Renaissance master, reproduced during the first half of the 20th century. Included in this set is "St. Anthony at the City", "Bagpipe Player", "The Nativity", "St. Jerome in his Study", and "The Flight into Egypt". 4 of the 5 works are on hand cut woven paper with St. Jerome being on laid paper. All works are watermarked "Reichsdruckerei" with another stamp on the back and the stamp of the gallery seller as well. Condition: good, tears and toning around the margins of the work. No foxing visible, some works have pinholes in the margin. All unframed, St. Anthony, Bagpipe, and Nativity papers measure 10.5"L x 7.5"W and St. Jerome and Flight measuring 15.5"L x 11"W.
