QING ERA INK CAKE AND BOX - Qing period ink block showing a monastery or palace in the Chinese countryside. The black ground is painted with colors of gold and red on the trees and buildings. The reverse has many lines of Chinese calligraphy surrounded by five-toed dragons. Block has some minor separation around the edge, but is in one solid piece. Measures: 6" diameter x 1" deep
